Why we're building this

Amazing groups are out there. They're just hard to find.

We're a home educating family based in Wickford, and one thing has amazed us from the start: the incredible people running meet-ups, forest schools, co-ops, classes and clubs, often for little or nothing, purely because they care.

Right now, though, all of that is scattered across dozens of local Facebook groups and WhatsApp chats. Keeping up gets overwhelming. You scroll, you search, you lose the message you meant to reply to. Then you hear about the trip everyone went on, or the group that was perfect for your kids, and you're left feeling like you've missed out, or that you're not doing enough.

We think it's time that changed. HomeEd Local gives organisers one place to share their brilliant groups, and gives parents an easy way to find them. Less time searching, more time doing.

Run a group? Add it before we launch

Whether it's a weekly meet-up, a forest school, a co-op, a class or a club, we'd love to include you from day one. Founding organisers get a free featured listing for their first year, and a say in how HomeEd Local grows. Just add your details below and we'll be in touch to get you listed.
